I saw in Facebook Marketplace, someone was selling a high end sound system. It included some Denon speakers, Some Elac speakers, a plasma TV control module, an ADA suite7.ss and an ADA PTM50 8-channel amp. I offered to buy just the preamp for $50. He said no but he'd take $100. I went to look at it and he said I could take the amp, too for $100. Unfortunately, there is very little info online about these units. I see they sell for $500 and $400 respectively on Ebay. Can anybody tell me what I have here?
The Preamp does 7.1 channels. I will have to download a manual before I can even figure out the controls.
The Amp claims to be 50WPC and is very heavy.
Should I replace my Denon CI unit with this setup? Is this better quality?
