Y connectors can be found just about everywhere - try Radio Shack.

You don't send coaxial digital signals to speakers. You send them to DAC's.

You have no idea what you need, what you are asking, and what's avaliable, and yet it's all everybody elses fault you can't get satisfaction.

...and don't effen' PM me again. I've tried to explain it to you and you're hopeless.

It's newbies like you that prove the validity of my signature line.

I thought this was crazy too, until I tried to search for the Y connector on Google. What a pain. I couldn't even find one on R Shack's site. Then I went straight to Monsters site, and there one was.

So I can sympathize with dannv, he's a newbie. We all have to start somewhere.:)

...we been down this road via PM. This ain't what he wants. He tried "Y" connectors and they didn't work. I tink he's working with propriatary speaker output connections but he never did articulate it clearly enough to clarify it. My last PM to him (prior to his most current outburst here) suggested he talk to Logitech.

...and then he spews this crap here? Sheesh...

Some kid blasts on the scene with no knowlewdge of what the subject matter, posts a question that has no bearing on what he really needs, just uses technobabble he picked up somewhere, gets good answers to that question and then gets pissed off when it doesn't solve the mis-stated problem. .all witnin 6 posts on this site.

Remember, he is STILL explicit in demanding an "amplified digitall coax splitter", not a "Y" connector.

I have the same question, but am not sure I got the answer. I have 1 digital coax audio output on my Digital Media Server (DMS) and want to send the audio signal to 2 different amps: one wired to my home theatre and the other to a second room/zone set of stereo speakers. The DMS also has composite audio outputs, but makes me select between the digital audio out and composite out which doesn't allow me to send audio to both amps at the same time. Back to the question: can I just use a digital coaxial cable with a Y in it like that shown on the Monster link or do I need something more? Would a simple digital cable splitter work like that used to split cable TV coax cable? Any help would be greatly appreciated.:)
