Hey
i have a massive CD collection that i am digitizing, i listen to mainly Death, tech, black metal and a lot of Indian Classical (Instrumental and a few vocal), the need for quality is very high in these and thus the advice needed.

I mainly listen to music on my IPod Classic or Ipod touch with on the go Sennheiser headphones and at home with over the ears Sennheiser HQ headphones or the Speaker system that i set up

i currently have 2 audio players that i used to RIP cds, i mainly use media monkey and itunes ( i also have media player as every windows 7 OS)
i started ripping on EAC, but the setting was off or something, but i didnt get a satisfactory rip, i went to ripping uncompressed wav files (1411 kbps) which sounded really good
but then i saw the massive size it needed
so i experimented with Media monkey with VBR 220 Kbps Secure which gave me a way better audio quality

now the issue is, does anyone know or can you point me to some place that can tell me how to rip professionally

also any tips on what i may be doing right or wrong
i have tried searching endlessly on the web for EAC settings, but failed

Thanks a lot
