audio cable as video cable?

Can I use audio cables as video component cables? I have seen radio shack gold series ...any goods? :confused:

As long as they are listed as 75ohm cables yes you can

Generally - Yes. Most audio cables these days are 75ohm cables. Likewise, you can use video cables as audio cables.

Only the REALLY cheap ones are not 75ohms and won't look as good.

Depending on how many cables you need you could always make your own easily enough.

Radio Shack Gold is good stuff. Much better prices than the Monster Cable that Radio Shack sells.

For the price, why not just get a cheap component video cable??? You're going to have to buy 2 sets of stereo cables and not use one, and then you can't be 100% sure they will work either, so your time and money are much better spent just getting one you know will work. If price is the issue, Parts Express has AR component cables on closeout right now for $9 for a 6 footer. PN# 189-060.
