any opinions out there on the Athena LS series? can't find much info or reviews on these anywhere. seems like not too many people have commented on these in the various forums. also wondering if it's because they're junk. came across the LS system at Audio Advisor for what seems like a steal, and i'm very tempted to pull the trigger...

What have you done to research them? They are under Klipsch and API's brands (Energy, Mirage). They are decent speakers, though I'm sure better can be had through ID companies for the money.

They can be found at Futureshop in Canada and I think American Best Buys if you want to audition them.

Athena no longer exists. The low prices are because of a clearance sale. I haven't heard the LS series, but the Auditions were great for the price.
