Athena ASF2.2, Axiom Audio M50Ti, or PSB Image 5T speakers, which ones?

Hello all,

I know there are a lot of good choices out there but I'm primarily looking at these three. Anyone have a preference (especially experience) between the three? I've researched all three and read the reviews. My shipping options are also limited due to my location Hawaii. If I go with the Athena's, $192 dollars (including a center channel) would be for 3-day FEDEX shipping alone I called Axiom's customer service and found out that that the shipping cost to Hawaii is included in their speaker price like other locations. I'm also considering the PSB Image 5Ts. Impedence shouldn't be a problem with the PSB's (6/4 ohms nominal, I think) because I have a B&K 5-channel power amp. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Nice choices. What type of music do you listen to? Do you have a bright or soft room (tile/hardwood vs carpeting).

Admittedly, my system is used primarily for movies, 85/15% movies/music ratio. However, I listen to jazz/easy listening, soul/pop & rock. My Marantz SR-8400 has definitely got me listening to a lot more music at home these days; I listen to most of my music in my car while commuting back & forth to work. I'm still using a pair of older Polk Audio RT-12, 250W towers, Polk 100W center channel, Atlantic Tech Dipole surrounds, Polk M-3 or M-5 back surrounds, 65-in Sony HD ready rear projection monitor, Velodyne 12-inch sub, Denon 5-disc dvd changer with a Faroudja chip, JVC DVR. Oh, my living room is fully carpeted, mostly concrete walls, 10ft ceiling, approx. 20ft long x 13 1/2 ft wide, I think. :)

My choice would lean toward the PSB's. How do they all compare in price delivered to your door? The Athena's sure look like quite a deal, though. A co-worker has the Athena's - 4 of the AS-F2's, and they sound spectacular. He's got them in a 15x15 room with vaulted 16' ceilings, opening up to a kitchen and stairwell leading to a balcony. Fills the space nicely. He's more into Bluegrass, Adult Contemporary, and country.
