Athena AS-P400; Is this a solid contender?

I'm having to scale back my sub budget due to over-spending on the fronts and center. I came across the Athena AS-P400 and was wondering if anyone knows anything about the performance on this sub. I couldn't find a review on AH. I can pick it up for $299 and $299 is about all I have to spend. Previously, I was looking at the $399 range (Hsu STF-2, Adire Rava, Rocket ULW-10, SVS PB10-ISD) but their prices plus shipping is now beyond what I can spend unfortunately. So now I have to look at getting a super-budget sub. I know Athena is making some nice quality products, but just wanted some input on this sub. Also, Hsu makes the STF-3, but it's only and 8" and i'm worried about it's ability to move air. Any thoughts are greatly appreicated.

Same goes for this page:

Both have links to the review itself or a pdf of the reveiw.

I've heard it, it's great! If I had more space and/or less dough, Athena would be my first choice. I just bought a P.5 for $59 Cdn on a clearance table in Future Shop (I swear someone screwed up). It's a damn good sub even at the $299 CDN asking price, it's a fantastic sub at the $59 clearance. Although 8" is adequate for music or gaming (usually not too much below 50 Hz, I'd stay with 10" minimum for movies (sometimes below 20 Hz).
