Wow! Placebo should check those out if he doesn't end up loving those iKon speakers. At that price, why not get 4?

LOL, I just posted to the poor guys last response before I read this. You should see what I suggested. Seriously though I offered to go and give the guy a hand, the store he went to are con artists, they have specially calibrated demo rooms and run all their speakers off of Harman 7300's or the like. They have a reputation of using different components in their speakers for the show room and the end products that they sell if you know what I'm sayin. These guys are crooks that used to be a big chain, now they are loosing shops everywhere.

I really hope his brother helps him out. A 21 yr old's pride may be worth more than the embarassment of returning those things. I hope his pride doesn't get in the way of correcting this situation. It amazes me that he even found this forum after making that purchase.

I feel so bad for him. I'm a pretty timid guy, but for $3K I'd try to get my money back. I think it was nice of you and McMan to try and help him out. I was getting more worked up about it then he was I think. It's too bad he's settling for this option.
