My friend has the B1's and he says they have great bass. I don't know what he meant, but I trust his opinion.

It has been awhile since I have heard a pair but I remember the AS-B1's as having very good "punchy" bass for their size and from what I have read the AS-B2's do very well in the bass department.

I would not use either of them without a sub unless they were in the garage, maybe.(I'm a rocker)

Great deal though, I like the audition lines sound and that price I might just get me some.

Their base is surprisingly solid. I was watching CSI on an HD channel w/out sub and kept wondering where the LFE was coming from. I then put in a Faithless cd and was actually blown away by the bass. These are, after all, a bookshelf speaker w/ a 6.5" driver...Would be an awesome speaker for a smaller room 2.0 set up.

they are in michigan, I'm in mass, I ordered them wednesday@3:30, they arrived friday@12:30

perfect condition, if I didn't know they were demos, I wouldn't know they were demos....
