As many of you know I have been building my house with my dedicated HT Room. My AV guy who is wiring the house and HT room etc. is a Pioneer Dealer and has quoted me a Pioneer 1018 receiver to go along with my speaker/sub/center equipment. My question is...is this receiver right for my equipment.
Here is what I have:
Def Tech's 7002 Fronts
Def Tech 2005 Center
Def Tech BPVX Surrounds
2nd set of Surrounds not yet bought but will be either BPVX again, or BPX or BP 2X.
Def Tech Supercube II sub.
My room is 35 X 15 with a riser 17 ft from the screen.
I will be wanting to use Netflix streaming, I will be getting a Blue Ray player, and be using cable, and gaming.
The Pioneer 1018 is very affordable, and powerful. What other choices would I have that will be appropriate for my needs. Is this Pioneer going to do what I need?
