AT&T U-verse TV

I just got it installed about an hour ago and I must say it is pretty impressive so far. There are only a little bit more channels in HD than what I had with Time Warner but compression is less apparent. The best feature though has to be the ability to watch content that is saved on the DVR in the living room on any other box (we have one in the bedroom). The system is very responsive when streaming content to another box including HD feeds. One DVR box can stream saved content to up to 8 TVs.

The internet also works off the coax line like Time Warner so my guess is it is not DSL based. The only thing is that the modem is the biggest thing I have ever seen.

Man, we've been waiting for ATT to get this where I am at. They are behind. I see the guys working like crazy down in the utility tunnels along main street. I had a tech here last year for a phone issue and he said ATT was really pushing their infrastructure with this UVerse. I've heard good things around here, though. Man, I'm jealous!!

I've been diggin my Uverse as well. We had nothing but problems for years with both Dish Network for satellite and Charter for cable modem. Uverse has been reliable, better quality product, and saved me a fair amount of cash. And they don't change rates on you ever 3 months, my rate is set supposedly for as long as I keep the service ... they said anyway.

Just got to watch the free sneak peak of Splinter on HD Net tonight, nice.

They've installed it in my neighborhood recently, and it looks tempting - They're offering TV, phone, and internet for about the same price as I pay for Dish. I've been holding back waiting to hear about their performance before I make the jump...keep us posted
