I recently purchased an ELAC S12EQ Debut subwoofer for my music and home theater system. The system consists of Wharfedale Jade 3 front speakers, an older Cambridgesoundworks Newton MC-100 center channel and Micca COVOs surround speakers all driven by a Harman Kardon AVR-1700 (100 wpm).
The ELAC is unique in that it only has an RCA plug for AVR connection and an A / C plug for power, all controls and adjustments are made via bluetooth and an App.
I have placed the subwoofer where it will stay and have done an initial set up according to manual instructions but I am looking for some fine tuning help to get the best sound out of this subwoofer. I don't really understand the correct settings in order to adjust the Center frequency, bandwidth and gain features on this subwoofer for the best sound. Does anyone out there have any experience with this particular subwoofer and can you offer some advice and suggested settings? Thanks in advance for any and all responding members.
