Hey all, I have 2 Selenium 15w10p-nd woofers sitting around and I want to put them to use. They have a relatively high Qts (.45) and I want to put them in the smallest enclosure possible.

15"
350 watts RMS
Voice coil diameter: 3"
Le: 1.235 mH
Impedance: 8 ohms
Re: 6.1 ohms
Frequency range: (-10 dB) 45 to 4,500 Hz
Fs: 43.6 Hz
SPL: 98 dB 1W/1m
Vas: 5.82 cu. ft.
Qms: 18.90
Qes: 0.46
Qts: 0.45
Xmax: 3.75 mm

I'd rather not put these in a gigantic cabinet... Does anyone know of any good resources for designing an enclosure around drivers with a Qts of .45?

Thanks in advance!

Seriously, I have no life.

What are you planning to use them for? They are not sub drivers and will have a high cut off. They have low xmax. From the specs they look like PA or instrument speakers. They will be quite useless as sub drivers.

Yeah, I was was thinking about putting them in a 3-way cab with an Eminence LA6-CBMR (6" closed back mid range) and a Selenium D220-TI compression driver with a 60x40 bi-radial horn. MF and HF would be mounted between the two 15s in a sealed 8.88 cubic foot box. I've never done a pro-sealed box before. I know this reduces it's efficiency and increases its power handling. Basically I'm tired of looking at these raw speakers in my closet and want to utilize them.

It would be used for PA purposes, maybe center channel/monitor use.

Here's a rough idea. 3way.jpg
