Asking help on repairing my Allison 9 speakers

Hello,
I am a true novice to home speakers. I found this site, and I thought I would post my question here.....
I have a pair of Allison 9 speakers that I bought, I think it was 1982-85? I still have them. How do I buy new speakers for them? All the speakers still work, except for one--it is the top speaker. The middle and the bass speakers still work--just need one new speaker, or someone to repair the top speaker on one of the speakers. By the way, how does the Allison 9 technology compare to today's speakers?

Did you find replacement tweeters I’m looking for some if you know where to get them

Your best bet is to find a pair of Allison's for cheap and transplant the tweeters.

Loose tweeters pop up on ebay occasionally but that's always hit or miss.

I wonder who owns Roy's patents... I feel like there's a decent market for replacement drivers if only someone would produce them.

Not sure where you are located but the best speaker refurb/repair shop in the country is the Speaker Exchange in Tampa. I have a pair of Altecs I bought in 82 there right now. Nice folks who know what they are doing.
