Has anyone ever seen or heard of a place to aquire ascendant audio subwoofers? The web site is down and I am curious about the company the home page says they just aquired someone from REAudio who made some big leaps in subwoofer tech, and style. Just wondering if anyone has seen these before. I will be doing a DIY style project with minimum a pair of 12" but I would like to be working with 15"s. I may go with adire, but to be honest I can find other comprable subs for less as they are not as well distributed. The folks at RE were always good to my friends who went through them.
Thanks

I used an Ascendant Audio Atlast 12" in my subwoofer project and it is an excellent performer. I am very impressed.

I have no experience with their other subs but I have heard nothing but good things about them. I don't know where you could get their drivers at the moment (Ebay?) but it shouldn't be too long before they come out with their new line.

That is one powerfull looking sub. It looks larger than a 12" normaly does.... if that makes any sense. Anyhow, about what price point are there subs? I am hoping to do a dual 15 or dual 18 project. It's over the top but that type is the best I have ever done. I may just make one 18" tube style and see if I am satisfied.
