No clue, but I have to say that the Sierra 1's are def great speakers IMO. A little softer on the high end then my Studio 20's were, but no question they were quite powerful and full sounding all around...

If I had a need for 3 speakers - I wouldn't hesitate to buy these myself.

$850 new each and now $300 each - thats a deal to me...

They're $850 a pair for the naturals, not each. Piano Black is $900 a pair, and $460 for the single. This is without shipping. Although I think there is a discount when buying an LCR together.

Still, $300 each is a hell of a deal.

Can the 3rd one be used for the center channel? i thought they sell a center Sierra? Does anyone know if the warranty is transferable?

Yes.

They do. It's the same speaker, but the waveguide is rotated 90 degrees. (I suppose one could take any Sierra, and simply remount the guide/tweeter to make it a horiz center, but always best to ask someone else besides me.)

Yes, it is.
