I'm sure with the Chase name in the mix people will come running...oh... I know he(Craig) has his fanbase & loyal followers but he is not anybody... I would do business with considering the way he has conducted himself in the past...JMO.
Agreed; that pairing is the embodiment of the phrase "opposites attract".

I'm surprised Lane hasn't stopped by to make a post or two.

A friend of mine has 4 swan diva 6.1's with the matching center and no subwoofer in his living room, I can attest to they do not need a sub, he wired all the 8" drivers to a separate amplifier that just feeds the sub signal. When he was explaining it to me I was like "wtf, this is going to be an abortion"... but it works... I think he did all 8-8" drivers on the sub amp but it may have been just 1 in each cabinet, I know he tlaked to swan and they told him how it would work... The system sounds very good... I also heard just a pair of them wired full range for music with a pair of tube mono blocks, quite the speaker for $500, I thought they were $1500 a pair, I almost want to buy a set rit enow after looking at the site...

Both fairly neutral speakers. Probably can't lose with either, especially the modded Pio's that Dennis Murphy sells

I have the 22's. I was interested in ahblaza's impressions of their differences since he has both.

I don't know about that...

With Craig's public meltdown when President Obama won a second term, coupled with his audit by the IRS...

I'm pretty dang sure they "align" politically...

I'm surprised Lane hasn't stopped by to make a post or two.
Me too...

Honestly I don't think it's a fair comparison, the A1bs can play louder and deeper and can fill a nice size room. Don't get me wrong, the BS22s are very musical and have a nice pitch, tone and image well. I haven't heard the modded 22s, the A1bs are much more solidly built IMO.

The ARX will have a thicker cabinet and more bass - however, do not
under-estimate the AAL monitors.

Is it not time for you, to do some up-grading? :)

Yes I do believe it is time, I'm looking forward to the Line Arrays Jon Lane is putting together here in the USA. Jim, forgive my ignorance but what are the AAL monitors?
Cheers Jeff

Hey all, I got my A3rx-c's! I posted some initial impressions over in my other thread here. I'll be writing a review over the next few weeks. I don't have any actual sound measuring equipment, so it will almost all be qualitative! :D

I see good things coming out of this merger with Jon and Craig and looking forward to some new models especially JON the LAs...
Jeff! Always good to hear. I'm entirely positive too, and the last few months have been a true pleasure.

Time will tell about this merger.
No worries...

Not to mention, I can't even manage to find an A3rx-c review on Google!
They're a new model that will probably hit the review circuit under the Chane M&C badge.

...however they really are a bland looking speaker. I would love to see them improve the finish when they rebadge them.
They are and I would like a deluxe finish too, although that costs money. That's one of the evolutions to come in 2014.

...the application of the vinyl could be better too.
This brand is built to our spec by a house responsible for a great deal of the premium speaker product in Europe and elsewhere. They're expert. If anyone has an issue with a particular sample, let us know.

Jim! See above. You'd be surprised...

Just had to make some time, Chu.

Chase still trying to sell speakers?

lol

If it sounds good it is good. And thanks for the comments.

Hey Jon! Thanks for stopping by. :) I can't wait to go home and listen some more. Do you think the Arx line will retain the same model numbers under the Chane name, or will they change accordingly?
