If this guy was such a good engineer, WTF (not what but why) would he purposely choose a transmission line model in the analysis of propagating audio signals through the conductor? Seriously!!! Doesn't he not know that the wavelengths in audio is much to large to be affected by parasitic reactance as defined by the transmission line model? :mad:

Well, that paper was written in 1980. Who knows what he knew then.
But, zero mention of audible differences between those cables.

Maybe.. Its what he didn't say about cables and leaving the subjective reviewer to their own devices kind of makes this whole article really pointless.

Slow down and read the article again. The transmission line model part is not about audio frequencies at all. It's what happens well above 100 kHz. This is where some solid-state amplifiers can go unstable and start ringing. Cyril Bateman also wrote about this problem. He found isolated situations where reasonable amplifiers driving reasonable speakers could be ringing at 5 MHz.
