Here's to hoping this will make a jaw dropping difference! But got it on that extra 15% off sale last week and figured what the heck.

First concern, moving a 220lb item in the house and to it's spot :)

Well... dunno what difference you are looking for exactly, but it's definitely going to output some serious SPL!

Remember: Furniture Sliders and Team Lift!

Yes thank you! I do have 4 furniture sliders. Not sure if the 2 wheeler I have will work to get it inside or if I'll need to rent a robust one (if that's a thing). So once I get it inside and upright, the furniture sliders should hep make it easier to slide.

Yes! I bought furniture sliders on my way to pick up my 1212. SO much easier to deal with.

2 wheeler? You mean a dolly? I would think just about any dolly would work for 200 lbs, but I'd have someone there to help too for sure. Once you get it inside and on the floor the sliders will make it a lot easier.

If concerned, look for an appliance dolly.
I bought a decent “standard” hand truck, but it’s not rated for that much weight. When I saw the heavy duty version at the hardware store, I quickly got that fantasy out of my system. $200 for a hand truck is a bit much.
That said you can probably rent one, appliance or hand truck, for 30 or so.

That's funny. I just heard from Dina, and my Horizon center channel should ship in the next 2 or 3 business days!

Ok then, when is that other 1212 hitting the floor :) You need one on either side of your head. One for each ear.

Maybe @Kleinst herniated a disc trying to free lift it, and now can't use his computer... :p

Hi Dan

Yes! It has arrived and I set up Friday and still getting a feel for the difference between my stacked 15 Klipschs

I can tell you it took a short time for it to come alive but it did in an hour or so. Both provided the output I needed. But this seems cleaner and much more capable on the bottom end.

it’s a beast and moving it into place was a battle but it’s there to stay :)

here are a few photos

I dialed in with REW but probably still have a few iterations to go. But it sounds good. I need to really put some source content to it in order to determine it's capability. But it seems like a permanent fixture back there. I'd never want to return it that's for sure. It would be a lot of trouble to put back in the box and on the pallet :)

That thing should trounce a 4-stack of Big K Subs. ;)

Glad you didn't herniate a disc! :D

Are you running an MDSP 2x4 to handle all the subs in the room? I would think you can really benefit from having the ability to hook all into the 2x4 and individually manage them to greatest effect, especially that big beast in the corner.
