Pretty soon I'll have around $1000 to spend on either an lcd tv or a projector system. Now I would like to get the biggest possible picture available, and it has to have hdtv for my xbox 360. I will be using it for cable tv, dvd's, and xbox 360 of course. I don't mind buying used items, especially off ebay. Just thought I would make a post to get your guys input on what I should do, what I should get, Links, etc... Your help is gladly appreciated, Mike.

I've you're going to be using it for video games, cable tv and dvd's I don't think a projector is the right choice. Not with the bulbs that have to be replaced. I'd suggest an LCD tv in this case. I just bought a 37" LCD HDTV for $1000 about a month ago and I use it in my living room for everything.

I'd recommend the projector if you were only going to use it for movies and not use it as your main display device.

Ok, I was thinking the same. I would really love to get a 32" or a 37" for a descent price. I would like to have a little money left over to put towards college for next semester. If anyone has any links to some good lcd's for good prices let me know. Can be used or remanufactured item. Thanks guys
