Are the tweeters the same watt output as the other drivers?

Are you suppose to replace the tweeter speaker with the same watt output as the midrange & woofers?

You are supposed to replace them with the correct tweeter for your speaker; aka the same one ideally. Using a different tweeter would mean changes to the crossover would be necessary in most cases.

The floorstanding speakers i have are speakers I have owned for over 20 years. I guess I'm not that critical on sound quality since I only use these speakers for my backyard listening on nice summer days.

The OEM ribbon tweeter frequency as I recall, crossover at: 3500hz. Floorstanding speakers are rated: 250 watts, uncertain whether RMS or Peak.
I don't care to replace with OEM ribbon tweeters since they are prone to burning out.
Just want to replace tweeters for around $50-$75, used or new. I do understand the SPL should be rated the same.
Thanks

Do you know what the speakers are? Or what the tweeter is? ...so we can know the physical measurements of the tweeter/faceplate, etc
