Any idea when the Arcam AVR 600 will be available?

That's a myth started by the haters It has a proprietary ROOM EQ correction that is just dead on. I had a Denon 3808ci receiver and it shouldn't even be mentioned along with the avr600 in the same breath.

I was curious because I didn't see it in the specs on their website. But that is good to know. I am glad some of these other non-best-buy brands are getting into the HD audio/video, HDMI, room EQ game! I need options! Those Rotel guys apparently forgot to put room EQ in, and didn't even ask me! Thus, I hesitate to consider them for processing these days . Last edited: Feb 18, 2009

The Unit is built like a tank and the set up mic that comes with it is like a brick- it weighs almost 1/5lbs and puts the Audessey's mic to shame. I was never a fan of the Audessey EQ as it softens up the AQ so much. The Arcam's EQ really adds punch and slam to the sound You factor in the Dolby volume and you have yourself a home run.
