Hi, just thought I'd post my work in progress apartment sized home theatre/computer setup. Components are as follows:
Receiver: Yamaha RX-V1500
DVD: Panasonic DVD-RV32 (next to be upgraded)
Satelite: Bell ExpressVu 3100
Front: PSB Image 5T
Center: PSB Image 9C
Surrounds: PSB Image 9C X 2
Presence: PSB Image 2B
TV: 27" Prima (cheap but not terrible)
Sub: 2 X 10" Oz Audio 250L in 8 cubic foot ported enclosure
(currently being driven by my old receiver, Yamaha RX-V550)
Computer: Athlon XP @ 2.4ghz, Abit NF7-S, 1gig Kingmax DDR500, BFG GeForce 6800Ultra, 350gigs of HD , 21" Mitsubishi Diamondpro monitor.
Cables/Wiring: Monster and Phoenix Gold.
Future upgrades include separate amp(s) for my fronts and subs - im looking at either Rotel or Outlaw, a Projector (when I have room for one) and a new DVD player. I have been holding off on the DVD player, hoping more companies include divx/xvid decoders in their new models as I have a couple hundred movies in that format. Some of the new Yamaha models have divx support, but I havent seen many reviews on them yet. Let me know what you think. I'm open to suggestions on improvments, keeping in mind I am in a pretty small apartment.
