I have a previously installed Russound CAS44 and am trying to use Apple TV as one of the source inputs. All of the Keypad Ports are connected to the wall plates but the 4th Source Input is currently empty.
From the Apple TV's digital optical audio output I have this converted to RCA jacks that I plugged into the 4th source but this does not seem to work (but it does if I plug it into a stereo receiver so I know the converter is working).
Is this even possible to do or is there something I am missing. Also of note is that the previous owner had all 4 sources working.
Has anyone else implemented Apple TV as a source on a CAS44?
