Apple App to control Home Theatre equipment?

Looking to see if there is a good app for controlling my Sony projector, Sony 3D Bluray player, direct tv , and Yamaha receiver. Anyone with any ideas? If there is , how complex are they to configure? I would love to be able to control everything from my iPad!

Same here. I've had a bunch of different Harmony remotes over the years but the Elite is the best I've owned, by far.

I've got the app fully set up on my iPad and Samsung phone and while I just usually use the remote, it's nice to have the option when needed.

I bought the SimpleBlaster to control my drop down screen, projector, and Xbox One (seriously... why no IP control still??). SimpleControl is more flexible and customizable than Harmony but also a little more involved to setup. I used to be a custom installer and programmed remote systems for a living. My URC MX-980 was aging and since I don't get employee discounts on new remotes anymore I found that SimpleControl is a good replacement. Not having a physical remote can be a bit of a pain sometimes because if you aren't in the app you have to switch to it to change the volume or something but I actually use my Apple TV 4 remote to do almost everything once the system is powered on. Very simple to use and works great.
