I am currently considering the sale of my Apogee Mini Grands. I really don't know what a reasonable price would be for them, but if anyone is interested, I would be willing to consider a sale. I have had these speakers for a number of years. They were purchased at a salvage store, having been through the San Francisco earthquake. They are in good to pretty good condition. I do not have the active crossover that comes with them. I had to reglue the surrounds on two of the woofer cones, which I understand is a common problem. The speakers sound great, but I have lost about 80% of the hearing in my right ear and can no longer appreciate them! These speakers are the best sounding speakers I have ever heard, but like I said, I don't hear so well anymore. I want to move to something smaller for my HT. You can email me at jbeemon@starband.netfor more infomation if you are interested.

My apologies for the delay in replying. Highfihoney, I live in central Mississippi. I will be glad to make pictures and email them. I don't really know what they are worth. I would like to get at least 1200 for them if that is reasonable. A little more information about the speakers. As I said, they have been through the San Francisco earthquake. The left speaker apparently fell forward, knocking two of the many magnets on the back loose and making a small mar or dent in the bass woofer. It did not penetrate or stretch the ribbon in any way that I can tell and doesn't affect the sound. There are a few scratches on the wooden panels that run around the outside edge and on both subwoofers, one of the hold down buttons on grill is missing the rubber grommets. The grill cloth on the sub woofers also probably needs replacing. I don't believe I can ship these speakers because of the weight. However I would be willing to drive up to 100 miles or so to deliver them.

hi jim, were too far apart for a pick up(detroit),if you want to know the resale value of them check out audiogon.com & look for comprable models, you might want to read the "grading scale" used to describe & rate the condition of used high end gear like the apogee's,10 out of 10 is new, 9 out of 10 is perfect condition with no visable blemishes, ect.
