Aperion Bravus subs

Unless these subs perform phenomenally well, they face significant challenges at those prices. That said, I am a big fan of small subs that offer high performance. I wish them the best. Competition and innovation make things cheaper and better for us the consumers.

are they ID subs? if yes, I agree that those prices are a bit on the expensive side.

If they indeed perform well, then the prices don't seem that bad to me. Based on your comments you guys had me thinking these started at $800-1000 for the 8" version! Hell I'd be interested in how the 8 and 10" models perform. I definitely will be curious to see how these are reviewed.

The FR limits at the low end are not what I'd have expected, not as low as I'd like but they're certainly interesting. Could be a case of two cheap drivers in a snazzy box where one better driver would have made for a better sub.

Aperion: Excellent Subs, Excellent Service!

I have their Intimus S-12, and it's truly a beast, with very good "table manners" too!. I am on the phone with one of there Customer service reps/Techs at least once a week, ever since I heard about the new Bravus line coming out a while ago. There is a guy there, named Jason Hicks, and even though he sounds like a kid, this KID knows his stuff, and he goes way beyond the call of duty whenever I call there. But, so does everyone else there. Aperion just sent me out a new box and all the pacakaging, for my S-12 because I told them that before I could buy 2 of their new Bravus 8's or 10's, I would have to sell my S-12, but someone had tossed out the box on me. (no one has the guts to "Fess up" in my house!) Anyway, Aperion would have let me trade up on larger Intimus sub, had I not already had their S-12. Of course I would have had to pay the difference. Their new Bravus series has a dual driver configuration too. I can't wait to get 2 of those new babies in my HT!! Their in home 30 Day audition is Great too. These guys even EAT the return shipping if you end up not liking their sub after the audition.
It's going to be hard to part with my S-12, but I am sure that the 2 new Bravus subs that I get, will ease the pain very quickly. :D
Take care all. Joe B.
