Aperion Bravus 12D - 3300 ccf room - Will it cut it?

I am back trying to resolve my issue with having to fill my sound space. I returned the SVS SB12 and now looking at Bravus and XV15 to help my Aperion 5T intimus package that I have parked pending the sub.

Does anyone has experience with the 12D considering a 650W amp with 2 bass radiators. Should I expect good room filling bass?

I highly reco the PSA XV15, have lots of experience with it, two would be really nice with that space but I think a single will serve you well and give you a real good idea of what LFE is all about, you may also want to consider the XS30. For now I would try a single XV15, you will not be dissappointed. If you really want to be blown away and can swing it, this will do exceptionally well in your space, like I said tho the XV15 may satisfy you, look for B-Stock if you can find one (I doubt it)

But the APerion has more wattage and a smaller footprint. Footprint is a wife factor.

You have a WAF issue and you're considering an XV15 and Bravus 12D? Odd, to say the least - there respective target market is completely different. Either way... I have a 12D that I'll be doing a review on in the not too distant future, so I have some hands on experience with it. While the Bravus is a nice little sub it won't really be able to do much in a 3300 ft^3 room. I assume that's why you returned the SB12.

You have a big room, so you'll need a big subwoofer. There's really no way around that I'm afraid, WAF or not.

Like Jim said, there is no way around filling that 3300cf room with a small FOOT print sub, period.

I really like the promo pricing of the VTF3 $650 now. Would that be loud enough and good fit for the room?

The VTF3 is a killer sub, I think it would work in a 3300 cu ft room. Whatever sub you get, placement is going to be important toward getting the most out of your sub. Hopefully you have different spots you can try your sub out in.

I agree; the VTF3 would probably do quite well in your room.

Likewise, I would think

How about the Outlaw LFM-1 EX? How do I choose between HSU and this one. I do want output since I have 10" ceilings.

I think this one is a toss up really, pretty much similar subs except down vrs. front firing. The outlaw may well fill your space to adequate levels, it is well regarded around here and a very favorable review at AH.

I like that sub, like I said it is a toss up, see what you sub you can get at a better price, either way you should be fine and have no buyers remorse.
Cheers Jeff

Go for the Hsu. It has more features and larger ports which helps with deep bass performance. The Outlaw is modeled after an older version of the VTF3, the mk2, and the current version is the mk4, so it is improved. I have an Outlaw EX and also a mk3 of the VTF3, if I had to keep one I would take the VTF3.

Just wanted to thank all, I pulled the trigger on the Outlaw. The WAF issue was handled... I am now with the Aperions and the Outlaw 1EX.
