After much research and thought I've ordered the following 5.1 system from Aperion:
533PT's up front
533VAC center
532's for surround
S-8 8'' Subwoofer
I used Blue Jean Cables to order new speaker wire. I purchased the Canare 4S11 "Star Quad" cable.

Scientific-Atlanta 8000HD DVR
7.1 Bose Setup (Cubes)
Cerwin Vega 15" Sub
Yamaha 8" Sub
The Bose speakers and subs will be retired...
