Like many audio enthusiasts, I started in this hobby with a stereo system. It was a Panasonic Receiver with two bookshelf speakers. I really, really loved those speakers. But no matter how much I loved their sound, I knew they were falling short on low end capability. So, I added a subwoofer as an experiment and my system came alive instantly. Even my less knowledgeable friends could notice the huge difference it made. Back then, there were only a few 2.1 system packages available on the market but non of my nearest audio stores had one for sale. Now, we can find many 2.1 systems like the one I'm overviewing here.... The Aperion Audio Verus Forte 2.1 Speaker System.

This system features their already popular Forte Tower Speaker and the Bravus II 8D Powered Subwoofer. The Forte towers have a small footprint for those without enough space for bigger speakers. But don't let their size fool you! These towers are more than capable to satisfy your thirst for detailed vocals, instruments and deep bass notes. Next, throw the Bravus II into the mix and you have got yourself a compact, yet powerful and elegant 2.1 system. The Bravus II is capable of filling a small to medium sized room with commanding, articulate bass for your favorite movies and music. Check out the following key features and specifications for more details.
