Hi I am looking for a sealed center that will fit in my entertainment center to replace my current center. What I have found are the 6c which is now priced at $450 and the 6.3 that I was hoping to find used (retail is a little more than i want to spend at the moment) I have emotiva products and like them but have also heard good things about aperion.
Has anyone heard both? I would love some thoughts on the two.
Or anything that would compete at the $500 price range. Good off axis response is a must.
The cabinet opening is adjustable but the max size is 14.5" high, 26.5" wide
:)

While I definitely understand where Matt's coming from and basically agree with him I will say that I would go with the emotiva for its "little crossover features" IE changable boundarie compensation, tweeter and mid level control.

I have an Axiom setup: m80v2's(really like), Qs8's(really like), VP150(only like when sitting dead center)

Not super worried about timbre matching at the moment. I just want something that will be heard from all seats in the room  The vp150's off axis volume is terrible.
If I end up liking what I get I might try new mains as well.

MB Quart. It is the center in my system, and it's superb. Titanium tweeter should match-up well enough. I purchased my complete 5.1 speaker system from Yawa, and they are superb. It's an actual store, not just a net dealer.

Thanks for the idea. Can't seem to find any specs on these however.
