A friend of mine is offering Belkin's ap41300fc10-blk for about $90. Just wondering if it's worth the hype. I have a very good whole-house surge protector already. Primarily looking at a secondary one + noise/EF filters at the power line level. Additionally, would love to know if there would be any discernible differences.

I highly doubt it. If you have a whole hose surge protection already, then I wouldn't go for a belkin. If you wanted some extra noise/EF filters then I'd go with something else. Panamax has a good reputation and so does APC. I have an APC S15 and think it's great. I'm not going to say that there has been a huge difference, I actually got it because I wanted a solid surge protector/a few more outlets/battery backup/voltage regulator, the EFI noise filtration was wayyy behind the rest as my reason to get it, but I do think I'm getting a little less fuzziness through my speakers. I feel like I can turn the volume up higher before I start to hear it now. As for picture, there is no noticeable difference.

Here are some links to look through, read them and take the opinions in the second review with a grain of salt. The last link is for APC HT products. I'd really say that EFI noise filtering is semi-snake oil. I feel like products that market that as their main selling point should be avoided. You already have surge protection I'd say don't buy anything you really don't need it, but if you do want to add something or try out a product with noise filtering then I'd go with APC from amazon or someplace that you can return it if you don't notice any difference.
