Anything similar to ERA or Aerial Speakers?

I'm a big fan of Mike Dzurko and ACI. I've had the pleasure of hearing the latest version of the Emerald's just a few months ago, for a couple of hours. IMHO, the Era D5"s aren't in the same league even though they produce a deeper bass by some 20hz. The mid bass, mids and highs are far richer, more detailed with the Emerald's Since I heard them I've read two reviews and I couldn't agree more.

Yep! Mike has developed some wonderful and under-appreciated speakers for a lot of years. Those in the 'know' respect him highly.

He has a floorstander in the works, but it looks like he is looking for a little rise in the economy before committing a lot of resources to the project.

My LX's fit your description of the Emeralds (XL's?). I run a small sub with them. But I'll tell you this...I like these old bookshelf speakers w/ a sub every bit as well as those very highly regarded Aerial 7B's sitting in my livingroom.
