Anyone using a QSC pro amp for their sub(s)?

I just started using a QSC RMX 2450 to power my homebuilt subs; definitely going to switch out the fan (sounds like a vacuum cleaner, or the loudest computer tower ever)...

I am also not too crazy about how bright the power and signal lights are when in use; very distracting... wondering if anyone has run up against this issue, and how to solve it...

Get replacement 24v Papst fans from Digikey with the lowest CFM rating they have...

For the lights, electrical tape. Sticky side towards the lights:D

I ordered the fan a couple of days ago from Digikey... as for the lights, I had thought of the tape solution; just hoping it doesn't look too tacky (adhesive pun not intended)...

Post your setup in your sig.

Just got done watching Transformers. I love my subs! I couldn't have touched them commercially for under $1800-$2000 most likely.

$180 on some TC Sound closeout drivers, $65 on ply, $279 on the Amp and $300 on the DCX.

Installed the new fan today; what a huge difference, from intolerable to barely-heard... it sounds like there is a bathroom fan running in another part of the house. I'm wondering if I can tame that down a little more with some gaskets between the fan and the metal housing and tunnel that butts up against the internal heatsinks.

Perhaps another day; I'm through for a while with unhooking cables and removing screws; time to watch, listen, and shake the house a bit :D

Electrical tape! Haha. I use window tint on pretty much all of my other components, but my Crown XTi sitting at the top, facing the PJ screen directly, greater measures needed to be taken. So I guess you can try window tint first (if it takes; depends on what the displays are like), or the tape.

I had to look up what subs you're driving, by checking your posts, " . . . 12" is a Dayton Titanic Mk III Sonosub, and the 15" a Tempest-X in a baltic birch box; both are tuned to 15 Hz". :D

Your package should arrive end of the day, Thursday, last I checked. :)
