Ordered several times from them. Unbelievable quality for the money spent.

I get solder style banana jacks from them for $1.19/pair where as parts express is over $4 for the same exact thing.

Never had a problem with them.

Sweet. I placed an order, got 26 sets of 3' RCA cables for about the same price I would have paid for 2 sets of the same cables from Monster. I was expecting it to cost several hundred dollars to replace all the cables in my system (most were the junky ones you get when you buy components), instead it was a whopping $59 delivered.

I'll post when I get them if anyone else is interested in knowing.

I'm not entirely impressed with the quality of all their cables, but the prices are good. My one order with them was packaged well and arrived very quickly.

I've always been happy with the cables I have gotten from Monoprice; I haven't done any A/B DBT's... but I'll never buy the super expensive cables again. Sadly, I will admit that I have bought a couple $200 cables before, but I know better now I promise!!! That was years ago! Come on guys don't disown me, will you still be my Audioholic friends?!?! :D
I love having a great supply of cables cause you never know when you'll need to make some weird connection, especially with PA equipment when I play gigs around at different venues, so the cool thing about monoprice, it's not much $$ to get a good mix of adapters and cables that you might not necessarily need right now, but you might soon.... so just go ahead and be prepared. It's how I justify buying lots of cables.... speaking of which, where's my credit card....

Two things about monoprice cables I'm not sure about.

1. They seem very stiff and inflexible. This makes it difficult to make tight bends while routing cable, esp. component cables between a wall and a wall-mounted plasma or LCD TV. They seem to put a lot of undue pressure on the RCA connectors unless they are set straight out of the equipment.

2. I don't know what the barrel shape molded into each end of the HDMI cables are for, but my other HDMI cables don't have this cumbersome addition to the cable.

However, they all work great and the price is right. I'll go to monoprice again.

Monoprice's HDMI cables are the real deal. I have a 35 footer for my Projector, that on my previous Projector that allowed me to run my PS3, when my more expensive cable would not get the handshake. Also have a few smaller HDMI cables that are of excellent build quality. All my HDMI cable will be bought from Monoprice from now on.

You are better off with the ferrite bead than without.

Always had good cables from Monoprice. Should be receiving an HDMI switch box and HDMI cables from them today.

The HDMI switch box has one small thing about it that I don't like - it blinks to indicate which input is in use. It is quite annoying; a static light would just as easily indicate which was in use. Other than that, it works very well.

I bought some wall plates from them. amazing price (about 1/5th of what every local place was charging) and they were here in no time. I'll use them again and again.

UPDATE -
I paid for the slow-*** shipping because I'm cheap, and my order got to my house on the exact day they said it would.

I don't have the equipment to do an A/B ohm test or frequency range, but they sound better than the cables that come with components. For $1.83/cable or something rediculous like that, I can easily say I'm happier than a pig in slop. I easily saved over $300, which means I can go buy a new CD player!

Another site I like to use is http://www.mcmcables.com. The cables they carry don't feel cheap or thin, and they sound good. They also have pretty good prices, and their shipping is pretty reasonable, depending on how much you buy. You can usually get the stuff in a day or two, with standard ground shipping.

I do business with this company also. Never any problems.

Monoprice cables

I have had good results with several analog and digital audio cables from monprice including the one you linked. I would stick with their "higher end" cables as the cost difference is negligable. Their cables can be stiffer because they use coax (RG59 for analog audio and RG6 for digital audio and video) instead of lower quality wiring. However, the optical cable I got is suprisingly flexible. I did get one bad cable but they promptly shipped a replacment, no questions asked.

If you want custom lengths, custom colors, the highest quality cable and connectors, and Made in the USA, than Blue Jeans is a geat option. I wouldn't pay extra for Monster.

I have all my stuff from monoprice. I have in wall HDMI, component, and SVGA cables. They are waaaay thick. The HDMI cable is 22 gauge and looks like a small garden hose. I would get a port saver plate if you use it for in wall runs. It will save on the bending of the cable. I do have it run up walls and through ceilings, but I did it before the drywall:D I am not sure I'd want to try and fish this stuff:eek:

The long component cables are flat, meaning three massive cables next to each other. That is really hard to fish, but again I didn't have to.

The small gauge HDMI cables for short runs (ie: component to component) look really sweet and seem to be great quality.

Also of not, I have a huge HDMI cable run and notice no picture defecits at all.

I would not hesitate to use monoprice.
