I have had experience with the Jamo E700 (owned) and Jamo C80 (owned by a relative) series speakers. Using the unmodified Primus 360 as a reference I will compare it to both different Jamos. Please note these comparisons were done solely by ear in room with two listeners myself and my father.
With the E700 series the Primus 360 had mid bass extension and far better midrange off-axis response (slightly better in the treble). The E700 was less resonant. Similar dynamics were noticed above mid bass.
The C series had better bass extension than the 360s, closer [not much] off-axis response and was equally resonant.
It is also important to note that the Primus 360 was far more linear than both Jamo offerings.
Simply put, save your money and buy a pair of Primus 362 speakers.
