Anyone know where to buy the Lowes 6AWG cable from the DIY Cable Faceoff??

Those are four-conductor cables. I'd suggest just asking at Lowes if they carry that at your store and where it would be. I wasn't able to find it during a quick search of their website, but that doesn't mean that it's not there.

You could also get a 10/4 dryer cable from Lowes (or other stores) like this one (and cut the plug off) if you only needed six feet or less.

That's SO Cable; SJ cable is similar for the most part, the insulations differ.
They are both used as power cords.
SJ is not suitable for use where subject to acid, grease, oil, or solvents, and probably cheaper.
It is sold by the foot

I have not seen this type of cable at Lowes or HD or anyplace else since I bought the stuff I did for the test.

Do you have extra? :D

or maybe a specific model number i can search for on ebay or something...

do you still use em? do they still have that blue techflex?? i know for a fact that 1/2" spyder techflex (red black) would look great on these cables:

Go to the Depot or Lowes and ask someone in the elec. dept. for SO, or SJ cord. (get what ever is cheaper)
I guarantee they, and any electrical supply house will have it.
The pictures you linked to in your first post, were of an SO, SJ, style cord.

I would recommend buying a cheaper version; SO and SJ, are overkill for speaker wire, unless you get them really cheap. Ask about cheaper "S" version cords at the Depot or Lowes, like SPT or SP.

Their are many designations for portable power cord, SO and SJ are 'general' starting points.

SO cord: S= Heavy duty service to 600V rubber insulated, stranded copper conductors. the O= oil resistant .

SJ cord: SJ = Junior Hard Service to 300V, same as above but with thinner jacket.

If you have a Harbor Freight nearby; buy a cheap 12AWG extension cord, and cut the ends off.
That may be cheaper than paying per foot at the Depot.
