I am looking for a cable that has stereo rca plugs on one end and a single TRS (headphone) plug on the other end. Does anyone know a place that might carry this cable? I checked monoprice but can't seem to find it.

Yeah I was thinking about just getting an adapter but I was wondering if I could get a single cable with no adapters required for a cleaner look. Guess I will just have to buy one of those adapters from monoprice.

That is a custom cable. It can be made if you wanted to call monoprice and check . Most likely they can make it for cheap for you. I have never seen one in a store but I have made quite a few of them..Best of luck, if nothing else the adapter will work as you already know..

They are pretty easy to solder as well: Just wire one RCA to the ring and one to the tip the other point on both RCAs is wired to the sleeve.

Radio Shack has both 1/8" and 1/4" in 6 foot lenght for $8.99 each. These are nothing new I think I bought my first one in 1969. Used to run my portable Norelco cassette deck to my Lafayette receiver and boy it sound great back then.

Awesome! Those two are exactly what I am looking for. I am trying to hook up a pair of wireless cans and the base has stereo RCA outputs going to my receiver's 1/4" TRS headphone plug.

The reason that I didn't recommend that one is that Gus wanted a 1/4" plug on the cable itself. If he wants to go with a 1/8" to 1/4" adapter (which Radio Shack sells), then he'd probably end up at about the same price.

This is the same cable as the Radio Shack one. It has a mini-audio (3.5mm) male plug on one end and left RCA male (white) and right RCA male (red) on the other end. 6 ft. long. I bought some recently to hook up IPOD to home HT stereo and to hook up PC speaker output to office stereo. I really like mono-price, very good prices ( sometimes almost unbeliveable as in this case), smooth order process and fast shipping.

Yes, it's the same as the one to which Walter linked, but he also mentioned the version with the 1/4" cable for which I put up a link. Gus was looking for the 1/4" version.

Radio Scrap should have it if you don't want a good one. I'm not a fan of their plugs- too fragile. Best Buy sells one by Belkin and it's not too pricey- maybe $15.
