Anyone know what this brand is?

Jamie's last activity was one minute after posting this thread. Perhaps this was more to just say, "hey, look what I'm getting," right before he hopped in the car. One can only hope that he's setting up his new toys right now. :)

Judging by the obscure design I would guess perhaps Bang and Olfusen speakers and possibly an older Sansui, Sony or Harman kardon reciever. Try asking on Audiokarma.org They love this kind of stuff there.

If it all works it looks to be a good deal. If it's not, it's only $30.

I just had a cool buy on Craigslist the other day (snatch and grab). Your's looks much more interesting than mine.:D

'Can you use it' is the question. I have the idea that you have odd pieces of electronics laying around unused all over the place. Instead of spending the time and money running around getting this stuff you could buy your wife some flowers and prepare a nice dinner for just the two of you. :)

... my girl made me write that ... she was holding a gun to my head ...

Somebody help me!

If I was a Moderator. You would have a 7 day suspension starting immediately for this post. And only 7 days because it's your first offense.

I definitely see your point. I'd let it slide, though...this time, but only because he said "you could" and not "you should." Well, that and Alex gives out rep points. :D

That was an excellent thought, Haoleb. Yesterday, after reading your post, I looked through an archive of B&O products that I came across. I didn't see any passive speakers that looked like those...but I just noticed now as I got the link for this post that there are a large number of "music systems" that are listed, some of which may include those speakers as part of a system. I no longer have enough curiosity to go through all of those (although I did just spend about ten minutes looking). :)

Is that a "sigh of relief" given that they were Zenith?

Who cares if they where Zenith. Would have been fun to play around with them. Would have been great for a garage system or something. Might have sounded so good they could have turned into his main 2 channel system.

We were quoting that they might be B&O and turned out to be Zenith?

I'd say that was a save. I mean Radio Shack was selling a full Yamaha 5.1 system for $99! $30 spent on these would have resulted in dissappointment, I'm guessing.

I know I would be disappointed.
