Anyone heard new PSB SubSeries 8 yet?

Curious as to whether anyone has had a chance to compare new PSB Subseries 8 to PSB Subsonic 6i. I've auditioned the 6i and was pretty impressed , especialy at its price point. According to PSB web site the (8) is suppose to be "a significant step up" ???

Is a very impressive sub and clearly beat all the contenders in a sub face off in Sound & Visions subwoofer face off. It played the loudest across the broadest frequency spectrum . Makes its easier to integrate into a system than one sub that is really peaky.

I haven't heard the Subseries 8 , 9 or 10 ... But I expect nothing less than stellar performance from the Subsonic series

I've been a big PSB fan for a long time now, and I know what you mean by stellar performance. I've been around high end audio for many years, and have had the luxury to listen to some of the most highly touted speaker systems in the world to use as a reference ... and it's amazing how PSB can offer you such a big slice of the pie for such a moderate cost. I'm quite sure that the 6i will be more than enough sub for my small HT room ... butyou know how it goes when they tempt you with a couple new models... :>)
