Anyone have experience with dual woofer subs?

Anyone have experience, opinions or recommendations with dual-throw subs like the Cambridge Soundworks P500 & P1000? RBH make a few as well.

My wife doesn't like the "tall" size of my existing sub, Athena P3. I don't have the heart to tell her in the real audio world, my sub is not big. Lets try not to deviate from the subject of subwoofer size. There are far too many jokes to throw at this.

I like the cube type dimensions that these type of speakers tend to be. Im curious about putting one of these things in a corner, where one woofer will be a few inches from the wall.

I have a pair of Sunfire True Subs. While I don't like it as much as the 18" Velodyne I use in my main system, I understand your wifes concerns and think that the Sunfire might be what you are looking for.
