Anyone have an opinion on the Pioneer Elite A-35R amp??

I have the Elite 56TXi receiver. I want to be able to bi-amp my mains as the 56TXi can perform this function using the surround speaker connections. I would use this amp to power my surrounds.

I am using Polk RTi70 mains, Pols CS400i center and Polk R15 surrounds and rear surrounds.

Any opinions on the performance of this amp for this purpose??

It should work just fine for the surrounds. There would be a large difference in wattage from the front to the surrounds, but in a HT application I don't think you would notice it, but I could be wrong. I probably wouldn't reccomend it for an SACD/DVD-A setup.

I think the A-35R is better suited for second source audio for another room or outdoor speakers. I would recommend the Onkyo M-282 amp. Vanns has the M-282 for only $219.99 with free shipping.
