Finally upgrading the old 27" CRT that I have and I liked the Sony. I read some vague online reviews, but want more detailed, long term opinions.
I mainly watch DVDs, and very little tv. The room is brightly lit in the afternoon and early evening, so plasma screen glare isn't wanted. And lastly, the tv needs to fit in an armoire. I have 39.125" available and the Sony comes in at 38.875".
It seems this 40"er is the way to go, but I just wanted more hands on experience or any advice on another brand/ model that would fit my requirements.... the price is around $2,000.
