Ours went up the day after Thanksgiving, which is tradition for us. However no decorations apart from the lights until the kiddos come home from college next week.

Just got ours tonight; sitting out on the deck for now. We'll put it up and decorate it this weekend.

Ours won't go up until a few days before Christmas. I've seen trees in peoples' windows since the beginning of December. But, I know a lot of people who take their trees down right after New Years Day and some who even take it down before that. But, we're kinda old-fashioned. We'll put ours up just a few days before Christmas and leave it up until Old Christmas Day - Jan 6th.

IT's a work in process. Tree was assembled Monday, lights went on Tuesday, the next two days were spent adjusting said lights for even coverage (Yeah, I'm anal), and the rest of the ornaments are going on even as we speak and continue for the next few days, along with emptying the box of chachkis that wind up in and on every available nook and cranny in the room.

Tree has been up for a week. Ornaments were started last night. We'll take it down probably in February or when my wife bugs me enough to haul it back into the basement. I'd leave it up year round but she won't let me. I'm not that Christmassy, just lazy.

:D

The Wife just finished ours the other day.

Holy 2001 Batman, Hal tells me you got something burning in the microwave.:D

Ours went up a couple weeks ago. It takes a long time to find just the right tree, but I generally find it in the same place I left it last year.;)

Ever since I threw some Christmas trees on a bonfire and watched them burn I've been less inclined to put one in my house with lights attached to it lol. You guys ever light one of those ****ers? It's insane.

Oh heck yeah! It's awesome! And makes me glad I got it out of the house when I did. Course, I usually let sit in the backyard until March or April so it's really nice and dry. WHOOOSH!!!

We have a fake one now so doesn't smell as nice, but doesn't go up in flames as easily either. Not to mention picking up all the friggin needles out of the carpet. Those things hurt when you step on them in your socks!
