These home theater subs perform well or they do not. Now I'll take English Literature for $200 Alex.

I'd expect more out of a 12" sub unless it's a steal of a price. What are you being quoted?

Agreed. The 23hz isn't bad, but it doesn't say what rolloff. The ports are not flared, which is a no no in my books.

I would stick with subs that are tried and ture.

can get the s12 for a little under 300. from what you guys are saying i think there are better subs for the money. but thanks for the input

I just purchased the s12. from what I have been told it is comparable to the paradigm, you just don't get the name or the fancy look. The thing is going to be hidden for me, so I didn't care about the look. I will let you know what I think of it once installed.
