Anynet is a proprietary control system that allows one Samsung product to control another one. It really is worthless and you would be better off with a Harmony remote and a IR repeater system. The Samsung does have discrete IR codes for power on/off and remote input selection... or at least, that was in an email I received from them.
We have a dozen of their LCD displays going into a job and we are forced to go IR for control since Anynet is completely worthless and they do NOT give out the control codes. But, if the IR does work correctly, then you have full control over the plasma via IR which is good enough for most.
Heck - Philips who came out with the Pronto which really asks for discrete IR codes isn't even smart enough to put them into their own products! Crazy how worthless engineers are within most companies when developing control protocols for their products.
