Anybody own TSC speakers?

I was just looking into getting their T series surround and center speakers. They look like they may be a good value.

I don't own them... but I only hear good things about their product line. Actually, Audioholics gave their own review on the TST2 towers and raved about its sound quality. I'm sure their bookshelf speakers are just as good.

The best thing about tSc is that they allow a 30-day trial on their speakers. So you can return them at any time if you don't like them.

They are an excellent value. Course the B2030P is an even better one. :D

Anyway you're not going to want to just get their surrounds and center. Mixing their center with your L/R Sony speakers will probably sound very odd. At the very least try out a pair of their T series bookshelf speakers (or floorstanders... if you really want) and see if you like them better than your current Sony's.

If you do, then get their center & surrounds to match, or just use your current Sony's for surrounds if you wanna keep it cheap.

Actually, I was thinking of the possibility of getting either the JBL ES80 or Infinity P362 and the tSc center and surrounds with them, but I'm not entirely sure yet. Looks like I could get the entire Primus 4.0 setup for about $30 more.

I did alot of research before taking the plunge and buying from tSc. I read alot of good things being said about the speakers (from proffesional reviewers and tSc owners). Well, I wanted to buy an entire HT package but I was still a little concerned. So, I ordered the TC2 center channel speaker and a pair of their TSS-dipole surrounds. I was really impressed with their quality. I then ordered their top TST3s. There is a nice review here (at audioholics) on the TST2s. However I wanted all aluminium drivers. They just look too damn cool, lol. I tell you one thing....those suckers are heavy! Now, I'm getting ready to order a sub (or two)...just dont know which one. I'm thinking about the T250.

I dont think you'll be disapointed with what you order from tSc. The speakers are put together really well and their sound is awesome. I've placed two orders so far and both have been shipped on the same day the order is placed..

Here is that review from audioholics.com on the TST2 models:

I plan on continuing to use my WX700 sub in the setup myself. I've been really pleased with it.

I have a TSC ASW-10 that I bought from a forum member here. It's a very good sub for it's price, and the build quality (especially the controls on the back) are very top notch.

If you are interested in them, I say go for it, because of the free two way shipping. You have nothing to lose!

I'm sure their subwoofer is awesome at that price. But personally I needed something with a little more "omph." So I spent a little more and got one of eD's subwoofers.

Also, just because you are buying speakers from tSc... doesn't mean that it would be in your best interest to also buy from their subwoofer line.

Well again, mixing your fronts with a center that isn't timbre matched is a pretty big gamble. It may blend well, but most likely it won't. Course with TSC you can just send it back if unsatisfied.

I won't comment on the ES80 or P362 cause I haven't heard them.

I have the TSAT 1000's for the main and surrounds and tsat 2000 for the center. They sound really good.

I've got the tsbla-ht setup, they sound great with music and movies. Can't go wrong at the price point they are selling. I would highly recommend them.

I just ordered the TST2's last week. They are being delivered tomorrow. I did a bunch of research and for the price it seems like they make a hell of a product. Time will tell... Hopefully they will be just what I wanted. :) I plan on switching out my old Mirage center channel with a TSC one as well if they sound as good as I hope!

I definitely want to hear from people about their tower speakers.

I have their in-ceiling 6" speakers and their 6" outdoor speakers. They are sweet. I will recommend them to anyone.

I helped a friend set up his TST2 "bundle" this weekend. Even in an acoustically poor "great room" the system sounded very nice when we got it set as well as the room would allow. Along with the typical movie soundtracks, my friend is a jazz musician and he knows what he likes when he listens to his CD collection.....he was very pleased with the speakers!

Not bad

Awhile back I bought a pair of TST1's for the family room not expecting a whole lot. Right out of the box the top end sounded a little thin. So, for the fun of it, I moved them into the HT room and hooked them up to my Marantz 8002/B&K 200wpc rig. Man, honestly, I was surprised at what a $200 (at the time) pair of speakers could do. I mean, let's get real.. they're not in the same ballpark as my MA RS8's, but I was pretty floored. After a few hours of break-in, I moved them back to the family room and ran them back to my inexpensive Denon AVR.. and they sound pretty decent. Especially with what we use them for-- background music and TV.

I think they're a great buy for what they are. Their style isn't much to talk about (black vinyl boxes), but for their purpose, i'm pleased with the sound.

Here's the Audioholic's review of the TST2.. http://www.audioholics.com/reviews/speakers/floorstanding/tsc-tst2
