I like Tag

This one is at least 25 years old and I use it everyday for work. I am a chef so you can imagine how this watch gets abused. Still original band, works great and never a problem. I also have the Formular 1 with the blue face which I bought at a Tag outlet for $385.00 what a deal that was. Also have an old Rolex Submariner (stainless only-no gold) Now I am starting to get into the less expensive ones Nixons and Skagens.

Especially like this one. These old eyes can no longer read the small dials, and even the contrast between the big hands and face is sometimes difficult. That's one reason I have become a fan of the Submariners. Got myself one at 30yr work anniversary, another at 35.

I've owned a Rolex Datejust for years now, but Rolex is a love/hate brand. I actually visited Rolex visiting Switzerland back in 2001, but honestly, I'm not a huge fan of Rolex anymore; big, heavy, tacky, etc. I really like the Rado New Original which really isn't expensive like a Rolex, but a nice watch.

Damn you. I wish I didn't look on Rado site. Most New Rado models looks actually good (unlike their previous design - i hated it) - This one I might add to collection sooner or later .... 629.0272.3.110

After a long search, I finally got my graduation present. I may have gone a little over the budget (understatement of the day), but it's just a different league of watch from what I was looking at. With that introduction, I present my Omega Aqua Terra 8500 38.5mm Opaline. Sorry about the iPhone pics, too lazy to get out my camera.

Beautiful!

What a great graduation gift

The wife gave me this yesterday for no reason...I like it.

I saw it in a store and commented on how I liked it and don't own a watch with blue on it. I think I'll keep her...and the wife too.:)
Nice! I just talked my parents into getting a pair of eco-drive Citizens.

They are not active enough anymore to keep their mechanical watches accurate.

back in the 1990's i always wanted a Tag. more specifically, the curvy Link series. i couldn't afford it though.

then at around year 2000, i was able to get my first Tag. but i opted for the Kirium series (looked nice at the time), wore that everyday til 2 years ago when it would stop running a few hours after i remove it from my hand (automatic) so it didn't keep running through the weekend. i wore a quartz Tag F1 on mondays (gift from my wife) :)

anyway, i was finally able to get the link after waiting 20+ years :D (also a gift from my wife)

When I was a kid, my folks asked what I wanted for Christmas I said I wanna watch. ...so they let me.

...sorry. I can't resist a straight line.

I had a Rolex Submariner date for about ten years 82-92.
Good news: sold it for double what I payed.
Bad news: maintenance over those 10 years ate up all the profit.
When I wear a watch these days, it's a Tag Link
Cheers, Mac

I have used my Concord Mariner for the past 7 years. It is large and heavy like want.

I like to know I have a watch on plus I have a large hand and wrist. I have been looking at a Brietling as my next replacement.

I alternate between these two Timex Weekenders and a Nixon for my daily wear. Just depends on the mood. I got the Timex watches from Woot for like $15 each and the Nixon was a gift from my grandmother. Like a few others in this thread, I have tiny girl wrists so it's hard to find watches that look nice and have smaller cases. With the Timex's, I tend to wear them with the face on the underside of my wrist. They stay put better...

I have been lusting after the Omega Speedmaster Pro with the meteorite dial :D Maybe one day... More reasonably, I'm liking some of the stuff Skagen has as well as some of Orient's more classic style watches.
