M MDS Audioholic Spartan Aug 26, 2009 #7 That is absolutely hilarious! I haven't had a cat in a long time but over my lifetime I've had a dozen or more and any cat lover can relate to that completely. The part where he catches the fly and stomps it to the ground but then continues to torture it and in a way dare it to try to get up and get away is absolutely classic cat behavior. They're basically killers... My sister's cat brought home a 2 foot long Iguana and it had a huge gash on the side of its neck and could barely move. She was just starting the torture process but I saved the thing and relocated it.

Aside from two days in 2005, I've had cats continously since 1971. Your new cat looks a lot like my first one, Goldenberry. He's got that "I'll get you, my pretty" look like all kitties do when confined in a cage.
