Due to my low post count, I cannot post in the sell gear section.
I am looking for a 5.1 Infinity Intermezzos.

Those are not on the Infinity website, so they must be discontinued. Any reason for your interest in that particular series?
Their best sounding current models are the Beta series, and they also offer Cascade for those willing to pay a large premium for looks.

I have a set if Interludes in my theater driven by Proceed prepro and the sound is awesome. I think the intermezzos are something in between Ils and Preludes, hence the interest.
My living room only allows for a 5.1 setup.

Intermezzos

I don't have them, but they were on my list for a long time. The were very well regarded, designed by the Floyd Toole and others at Harman/Infinity. The reviews were generally very very positive. See N. Garder, TAS Issue 134, p. 66, where he concludes "The Intermezzo 2.6 is one serious product in whichthe technology and design are there to enjoy inside and out.P e rfect? Not quite. But the Intermezzo 2.6 bears comparisonwith the best of this compact breed of over-achievers."

See also Stereophile, http://www.stereophile.com/standloudspeakers/364/

They show up on Audiogon occasionally.

They use the earlier designed of the ceramic drivers that are now used in Infinity's Beta and other products.

Keep looking, and enjoy if you find them.

The Intermezzo series is far beyond that of the Beta series. They use over all better parts, some of them are active as well. The Intermezzo 2.6s are a dream speaker of mine.
